Chiller Controller: A Key Refrigeration Technology
A chiller is an intelligent device that can automatically adjust temperature and parameters through various controllers to optimize its operating status. The core control system of the device includes sensors, controllers, and actuators.
Sensors continuously monitor the status of the chiller, such as temperature and pressure, and transmit this key information to the controller. After receiving these data, the controller performs calculations and analysis based on the preset temperature and parameters as well as the sensor monitoring results. Subsequently, the controller generates control signals to guide the actuators in adjusting the operating status of the chiller.
In addition, a chiller is equipped with multiple controllers, each performing its own function, jointly maintaining the stable operation of the entire industrial temperature control equipment.
Chiller Controller Components
In addition to the core control system, the device also includes many other important components.
Temperature sensor: monitors the operating temperature of the chiller and transmits the data to the controller.
Power module: responsible for providing power supply.
Communication module: supports remote monitoring and control functions.
Water pump: controls the circulating flow of water.
Expansion valve and capillary tube: control the flow and pressure of the refrigerant.
Chiller Protection Functions
The chiller controller also has fault diagnosis and alarm functions.
When any fault or abnormal condition occurs in the chiller, the controller will automatically issue a prominent alarm signal according to the preset alarm conditions, promptly reminding operators to handle and resolve the issue, thereby effectively avoiding any possible losses and risks.
